West Ham United are interested in signing Conor Gallagher from London and Premier League rivals Chelsea in the summer transfer window, according to HITC. The report has claimed that Gallagher and Chelsea are in talks over a new contract, and West Ham are ready to take advantage if the two parties are unable to come to an agreement.
Gallagher has been on the books of Chelsea since 2008 and is a product of the London club’s youth academy. The midfielder is now a regular in the first team and is one of the best and most important players in head coach Mauricio Pochettino’s team. Gallagher has scored two goals and given four assists in 24 Premier League matches for the Blues this season.
The England international midfielder is out of contract at Chelsea in the summer of 2025. According to HITC, Gallagher wants to stay with the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners. Talks have been held between the two parties, but Chelsea have not offered him a new deal.
