West Ham United eye Everton’s Theo Walcott on loan

According to TEAMtalk, West Ham United are interested in signing Theo Walcott on loan from Premier League rivals Everton in the summer transfer window. It has been reported that the Hammers have made contact with the Toffees in regard to bringing the former Arsenal forward to Goodison Park for the 2020-21 campaign.

West Ham, though, are not the only club who are chasing the 31-year-old England international. The report has claimed that fellow London club Crystal Palace have also made contact with Everton, while Newcastle United, Fulham and Southampton have been offered the chance to sign him before the summer transfer window closes this month.

Walcott made 17 starts and eight substitute appearances in the Premier League for Everton last season, scoring two goals and providing three assists in the process, according to WhoScored. The England international forward could struggle for playing time at the Merseyside club this season.
