West Ham United have offered Ben Johnson a new deal, according to The Athletic. Johnson is out of contract at West Ham at the end of the month, and the Premier League club are keen on keeping him.
The Athletic has reported that West Ham have offered Johnson a new and improved five-year contract. The defender has rejected a number of offers from the Hammers, but the London club have not given up hope of convincing him to continue to play at London Stadium.
Johnson, though, has other options. The report in The Athletic has noted that Premier League club Crystal Palace are interested in snapping up the 24-year-old full-back on a free transfer. Leeds United, who will play in the Championship next season after failing to win promotion to the Premier League, are interested in Johnson as well, and so are Scottish Premiershup giants Rangers.
