West Ham United are considering a move for former Manchester City and Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri, according to the Mirror.
The Hammers are on the lookout for reinforcements with several their current selection struggling with injury and could turn to the thirty-one-year-old, who recently completed an eighteen-month drugs ban.
Everton are also interested in signing Nasri, though West Ham could hold the key with manager Manuel Pellegrini having worked with him for three seasons at the Etihad Stadium.
The former France international racked up one-hundred and seventy-one appearances for the Citizens in all competitions, scoring twenty-six goals – just one less strike than he managed during three years with the Gunners.
His most successful spell certainly came with City, where he won two Premier League titles and the League Cup.
West Ham travel to Huddersfield Town on Saturday afternoon and the away win can be backed at a price of 6/5.
