West Ham United are interested in signing Manchester United attacking midfielder Jesse Lingard in the summer transfer window, according to 90min. Lingard is out of contract at Manchester United at the end of the season and will be available as a free agent.
Lingard spent the second half of last season on loan at West Ham from Manchester United and helped the Hammers finish in the Europa League places. The 29-year-old has made two starts and 14 substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Red Devils so far this season, providing one assist in the process.
West Ham are seventh in the Premier League table at the moment with 43 points from 34 matches, while Manchester United are currently sixth in the standings with 54 points from 34 games.
