West Ham United are interested in signing Josh Dasilva of Brentford, according to The Guardian. It has been reported that West Ham are keeping tabs on the 22-year-old midfielder, but Championship club Brentford are not going to sell the youngster on the cheap.
Dasilva has been on the books of Brentford since the summer of 2018 when he moved to the London club after leaving Arsenal. The England Under-21 international midfielder has made 20 starts and two substitute appearances in the Championship for the Bees so far this season, scoring two goals and providing three assists in the process, according to WhoScored. During the 2020-21 campaign, the 22-year-old made 36 starts and nine substitute appearances in the Championship for Brentford, scoring 10 goals and providing four assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
Brentford are second in the Championship table at the moment with 41 points from 22 matches. It is hard to see the Bees sell Dasilva in the middle of the campaign.
