West Ham United are keen on signing Max Kilman from Premier League rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano. The well-known and well-respected Italian journalist has claimed that West Ham plan to make a third bid for the central defender soon.
Romano has noted that West Ham have had two bids for Kilman turned down, but the London club are determined to get a deal done. New Hammers manager Julen Lopetegui personally wants Kilman. The former Real Madrid boss worked with the 27-year-old centre-back when he was in charge of Wolves.
The journalist wrote on X: “EXCL: West Ham are still pushing for Max Kilman, new proposal expected to be sent soon.
“Second proposal also included one player as part of the deal but Wolves rejected again. Julen Lopetegui wants Kilman, talks continue.”
Kilman has made 127 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career. The centre-back has scored three goals, given one assist, and kept 31 clean sheets in those games.
