West Ham United want Bournemouth striker Josh King

West Ham United are interested in signing Josh King from Bournemouth before the summer transfer window in England closes on October 16, according to The Telegraph. It has been reported that the Hammers are in a good position to sign the Norway international striker.

The Hammers are looking for a new striker for the 2020-21 campaign. Sebastian Haller could not make a huge impact at the London Stadium last season, and while Michail Antonio is doing well playing upfront, and the former Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forest man is a winger by trade.

According to WhoScored, King has played 23 minutes in the Championship for Bournemouth so far this season. During the 2019-20 campaign, the 28-year-old made 24 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Cherries, scoring six goals and providing four assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
