West Ham United are interested in signing Armando Broja from London and Premier League rivals Chelsea in the January transfer window, according to TEAMtalk. The report has claimed that the Hammers want to bring in a new striker due to the injury to Michail Antonio, and Broja is on their radar now.
Broja has recovered from his long-term injury problem and is now fit. However, the Albania international striker is not getting much playing time at Chelsea, whose manager Mauricio Pochettino is playing Nicolas Jackson in attack. The 22-year-old has made two starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Blues this season, scoring one goal in the process.
Chelsea are 10th in the Premier League table at the moment with 16 points from 12 matches, 10 points behind London and fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur. Meanwhile, West Ham currently find themselves ninth in the standings with 17 points from 12 games.
