West Ham United are interested in signing Emile Smith Rowe from London and Premier League rivals Arsenal in the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that West Ham wanted to sign Smith Rowe in the summer transfer window, but no move materialised.
The Hammers, though, have retained an interest in Smith Rowe and could reportedly try to secure his services in the middle of the season. Arsenal would be willing to sell the 23-year-old England international attacking midfielder for between £35 million and £40 million.
Smith Rowe has made two substitute appearances in the Premier League for Arsenal so far this season. The 23-year-old, who can also operate as a winger, has also played 40 minutes in the UEFA Champions League for the Gunners so far this campaign. Arsenal are third in the Premier League table at the moment with 17 points from seven matches, a point behind leaders and defending champions Manchester City.
