West Ham want Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham on loan

West Ham United are interested in signing Tammy Abraham from Chelsea in the summer transfer window, according to The Athletic. It has been reported that the Hammers want to bring the England international striker to London Stadium on a loan deal.

Chelsea are looking for £40 million as transfer fee for Abraham. Although Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Leicester City want the 23-year-old as well, they cannot afford to pay what the Blues are demanding. West Ham are hopeful that they will be able to strike a deal with Chelsea and sign him on loan.

The 23-year-old England international has made 12 starts and 10 substitute appearances in the Premier League this season, scoring six goals and providing one assist in the process. Abraham scored 15 goals and provided three assists in 25 Premier League starts last season, and also scored three goals and gave one assist in seven Champions League starts.
