West Ham United are interested in signing Manchester United attacking midfielder Jesse Lingard, according to 90min. Lingard, who can also operate as a winger, is out of contract at Manchester United at the end of the season, and Premier League rivals West Ham are keen on securing his services on a free in the summer transfer window.
90min have reported that West Ham representatives are back in touch with the agents of Lingard after manager David Moyes told them to get a deal done. The 29-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at West Ham from Manchester United and helped the Hammers qualify for the Europa League.
Lingard scored nine goals and gave four assists in 16 Premier League matches for the Hammers during his loan spell at London Stadium. The Englishman has made two starts and 14 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Manchester United this season, scoring two goals in the process.
