West Ham United are among the clubs interested in signing Matty Cash from Nottingham Forest, according to The Telegraph. West Ham are reportedly planning to make a move for the 22-year-old right-back in the summer transfer window.
Forest, who narrowly failed to finish in the Championship playoffs this season, are reluctant to sell the youngster, but they would cash in on him if a club make an offer of £15 million. The report has further added that West Ham made a bid of £12 million for the Englishman.
Sheffield United have also made a bid of £10 million for Cash, but Forest have turned it down. Southampton are claimed to want the youngster – who can also operate as a midfielder – as well. It remains to be seen how much West Ham offer to the Reds for Cash, and if the Blades return with an improved bid in the coming days.
