Having seen their initial approach for Bournemouth winger Matt Ritchie rejected, West Ham are willing to come back with an improved offer for the Scotland international, according to Daily Telegraph.
Hammers tried to wrap up a £25 million deal for Bournemouth duo Callum Wilson and Matt Ritchie earlier in the season infuriating manager Eddie Howe, but Slaven Bilic insists on doing business with Bournemouth and is preparing an improved £8 million offer for the Scottish winger.
West Ham are apparently ready to fork out initial £8 million in a fee that would rise up to £10 million in instalments.
Matt Richie is understood to be keen on a move to London and has already met with Bournemouth manager to discuss possibility of a summer transfer to the Hammers.
Ritchie played a key role in Bournemouth’s rise to the Premier League scoring four goals in club’s debut campaign in the top flight.
