Premier League sides West Ham and West Bromwich have joined the chase to sign Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho, according to the Daily Mail.
It is now clear that the Frenchman will be leaving Anfield in January, but while he was initially expected to be sold, the latest reports claim the Reds would also consider a short-term loan.
However, Liverpool reportedly want £500,000 for said loan deal, which could prove too much for interested sides, especially given the player’s £80,000 weekly salary.
West Ham and West Bromwich have recently made approaches for the highly rated footballer, while PSG, Lille, Inter Milan and AC Milan are keen as well.
The 26-year-old has failed to prove his worth at Anfield, but he is still held in high regard by top European clubs and it only remains to see where he will end up in January, given the heavy interest in his services.
