Sky Sports has reported that La Liga champions Barcelona have took notice of the West Ham youngster Domingos Quina.
The Portuguese Under-19 international is enjoying a successful spell at the U19 European Championship where his team reached the final. Quina made a string of impressive appearances which were obviously enough to grab Barcelona’s attention.
The 18-year-old attacking midfielder moved to West Ham in 2016 from Chelsea but has yet to break into the Irons’ first team. West Ham are believed to be prepared to let him go this summer as he only has one year left in his deal and is highly unlikely to get even close to the first-team action during the 2018/19 campaign.
Quina is a highly-rated youngster with great technical ability and impressive athleticism. Movement and awareness are another two traits that make him such a desired asset as well.
Barcelona are expected to approach Quina when the U19 European Championship is over with West Ham said to be holding out for a £600,000 fee for the Portugal talent.
