While Manchester City might have relinquished their maiden Champions League crown last month, the Sky Blues still have their sights firmly set on making more domestic history this season.

With a fourth consecutive Premier League crown at the top of their agenda, Pep Guardiola’s men appear to be already putting together their summer plans.

Although it might have been heavily speculated that Bernardo Silva could be set for a move away from the Etihad at the end of the season, City are once again expected to break the bank.

Ahead of what looks set to be a frantic summer behind the scenes in the blue half of Manchester, we have taken a look at some of the European stars that are topping Guardiola’s wishlist.

Lucas Paqueta – West Ham

Although Lucas Paqueta might have eventually stayed put in east London during January’s transfer window as a blockbuster move to Manchester City fell apart, it appears that the Sky Blues are set to reignite their interest over the coming months.

Playing a crucial role as West Ham were crowned Europa Conference League champions last season, the Brazilian play-maker has continued to receive a string of plaudits.

With it suggested that the former Lyon ace has made it clear that he wants to complete a move to the defending Premier League champions this summer, Paqueta’s £85million release clause is also set to become activated next month.

While it might have been reported that Guardiola’s side are keen on opening up discussions over a potential compromise, Paqueta has once again been one of the Hammers’ standout performers this season.

Notching eight goals across all competitions and a further seven assists, The Athletic are reporting that Guardiola is a huge admirer of the 26-year-old and has made West Ham’s talisman as his ideal target this summer.

Jonathan Tah – Bayer Leverkusen

With Bayer Leverkusen breaking a string of records this season and breezing their way to a maiden Bundesliga crown, Xabi Alonso’s history-making squad have received a string of plaudits from across the continent.

However, Alonso himself but have publicly stated that he will not be leaving the BayArena this summer, there has been extended speculation that a number of their first-team stars are attracting plenty of heavyweight interest.

Although the likes of Victor Boniface and Florian Wirtz might have continued to spearhead Leverkusen’s fairytale, their talismanic skipper has played a leading role in their success this season.

With Jonathan Tah now regarded as one of Europe’s hottest defensive stars, the Germany international finds his stock at a red-hot high and it has been suggested that Guardiola is keeping a close eye on the 28-year-old.

With the former Hamburg defender soon to enter the final 12 months of his current deal with the newly-crowned German champions, The Manchester Evening News are reporting that Tah is one of City’s key defensive targets.

Jamal Musiala – Bayern Munich

While England skipper Harry Kane might have broken a string of records since complying a £100million move from Tottenham, Jamal Musiala has continued to steal plenty of Bayern Munich’s headlines this season.

With the German giants looking to get their hands on a seventh European crown this season, the one-time Chelsea schoolboy has quickly blossomed into one of world football’s most promising young starlets.

However, although Thomas Tuchel’s side might have made it abundantly clear that they want the 21-year-old to extend his current deal at the Allianz, there has been no successfully discussions and both parties at a stalemate.

Recording 19 goals contributions across all competitions this season and tipped as a future Ballon d’Or winner, Musiala is also reportedly attracting major summer interest from Man City.

With The Guardian suggesting that Guardiola’s side have identified the German international as a dream long-term target, some behind the scenes in Manchester feel that they can tempt Musiala back to the Premier League this summer.
