Bundesliga strugglers Koln threw away a three-goal lead against Freiburg this weekend.
It wasn’t an easy game for the relegation-threatened sides on a snowy day in Germany with the game kicking of half an hour later than planned.
With snow cleared and red lines painted the game started but the match organisers forgot to highlight the penalty spot which gave referee Kampka plenty of trouble.
He struggled to find the spot and ultimately measured the 12-yard mark from the goal-line.
Marvellous.
“Where’s the penalty spot?”
*Thinks back to his youth playing in the park*
“Don’t worry, I’ve got this…”
Somebody forgot to paint the penalty spot in Koln due to the heavy snow. The ref is forced to improvise 😂❄️ pic.twitter.com/VHzP1XXHBO
