Serbia triumphed over Norway in Oslo on Wednesday to secure the top spot in their Nations League group and promotion to the League A, courtesy of goals from Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic and Fulham’s Aleksandar Mitrovic.
Speaking to the press ahead of the match, Serbia boss Dragan Stojkovic was asked about his plans to stop Manchester City star Erling Haaland.
Stojkovic obviously went for humour when talking about a 22-year-old striker who has so far scored 14 goals in 10 matches in all competitions for the reigning Premier League champions. Nonetheless, Serbia emerged from the match with a clean sheet despite Haaland being on the pitch from the first to the final whistle.
