Wigan, Bramble wants 40 points as soon as possible

Wigan Athletic defender Titus Bramble would like his side to collect 40 Premier League points as quickly as possible, and guarantee their safety from relegation in the process.

“We’re enjoying some good performances at the back, and we’re at a stage where Emmerson Boyce, Scharner and myself are all comfortable playing with each other and forming different partnerships,” he told the club’s official website.

“We want to hit that magical 40-point mark, that’s really important to us. It’s fortunate that teams below us keep getting beat so we’ll make sure we get back to winning ways soon.”
