Arsenal are keeping close tabs on Swansea striker Wilfried Bony, the Daily Mirror has revealed.
It is believed Arsene Wenger plans to sign a new centre forward to increase competition for places in attack and the Ivorian appears to be one of the players on his radar.
Bony became Swansea’s record signing when he arrived from Vitesse last summer, and he needed a while to adapt to English Premier League.
Nevertheless, he kept raising his form as the season unfolded and ended the campaign with no less than 17 league goals to his tally.
As a result, Bony seems to have caught the eye of England’s top sides, with Arsenal, Liverpool and Everton all keen on his services.
The 25-year-old is expected to star for Ivory Coast at the 2014 World Cup, and it remains to be seen whether the Swans can resist temptation to cash in on him in the summer.
