Vitesse striker Wilfried is in talks with several clubs from Russia, the player’s representative has revealed.
Bony, 24, is currently with Ivory Coast national team at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, but there is every chance that he will have changed a club by the time the tournament ends.
Even if the talented forward has been heavily linked with a switch to English Premier League, it appears that he is much closer to a move to Russia.
Russian newspaper Izvestia understands that Anzhi and Rubin are in talks to sign Bony, with the player’s representative confirming he is negotiating with several clubs from Russia.
“There is a serious interest from a number of Russian clubs in Wilfried, but I cannot name the clubs, because at the moment everything is in the process of negotiations,” agent Dalibor Lacina confessed to Izvestia.
Lacina then went to say that his client was interested in a move to Russia and that a winter move was indeed possible.
Wilfried Bony has been in scintillating form this season, netting 16 times in 18 Eredivisie appearances for Vitesse.
