Daily Mail has suggested that Manchester United boss David Moyes is weighing up a bid for Derby County wonderkid Will Hughes.
The Scottish manager is expected to try and reinforce the squad in January, with the 18-year-old midfielder one of the first names on his hit-list.
Liverpool and Everton have previously expressed their interest in the English midfielder, but the Red Devils are confident they can win the race for the player’s signature.
Despite his fragile age, Hughes has already become a key player for Derby and has so far scored 4 goals in 49 Championship matches.
His current employers are hoping to keep hold of him at least until the end of the season, but everything suggests they are going to sell him to the highest bidder in January.
Manchester United are still attempting to recover from some unexpected slip ups in the opening exchanges, and they are now no less than 6/1 to defend the Premiership title.
