Another transfer saga might be coming to an end, or at least getting on a stand by until some other time. Mario Mandzukic has been rumoured with a move away from Juventus since the start of the last summer transfer window, but he ended up staying at the club. Despite reports that he might still move on after the window ended, now the case might be that the Croatia international will be actually remaining in Turin.
According to Sky Sports, Mandzukic will not leave Juventus, having missed the opportunity to join a club in Qatar. The combative forward has been linked with a move to the Middle-Eastern country ever since September started but any deal is now off due to ‘economic and fiscal problems’.
The reason he was even mentioned in this conversation was because Qatari transfer window ends on 30 September. The attacker will now remain in Turin but could be interested in a swap to the Premier League in January.
