AS Roma midfielder William Vainqueur has been the subject of interest from a number of clubs during the January window, according to France Football.
The 28-year-old was loaned to Marseille in the summer in an attempt to resurrect his career and he was able to perform even better than expected.
With Lassana Diarra nearing the exit door, Vainqueur has proved an excellent replacement for his compatriot, but OM have yet to try and turn his loan deal into permanent move.
Marseille may have to act soon as AS Roma have received several offers for the player’s services in the January window, mostly from other French sides.
France Football claims that Vainqueur would prefer to remain at Stade Velodrome, but he is ready to consider other offers if OM fail to make their move.
Marseille suffered the third successive defeat on the road last weekend, but they can be backed at 8/13 to see off Rennes at home.
