Williams committing to Athletic Bilbao?

According to a recent report from Marca, Inaki Williams is happy to commit his entire future to Athletic Bilbao, his agent has claimed.

The 26-year-old forward has often been viewed as someone who could be of interest to any number of top clubs across European football, but for whatever reason, he’s stuck with Bilbao up to this point.

Bilbao have been praised by many all across the world of football for the manner in which they have gone about their transfer business, and these comments from Williams’ agent seem to imply that he has a great relationship with the club. Whether or not that would continue to be true if big offers start to come in is another matter, but at the very least, this is something both parties can build on in the midst of a highly volatile January transfer window for many clubs due to multiple financial constraints.
