Willian gives Chelsea contract update

“No, no, nothing. [But] yes, I am still relaxed. I am calm, I am relaxed. I wait for the club.”

Those are the short and simple words from Chelsea star Willian, who has confirmed that there has been no progress up to this point regarding a new contract being arranged for the Brazilian. With his current deal being set to expire next summer, the expectation is that the two parties will come to terms on a new deal. However, with the likes of Barcelona lingering in the background, it could wind up being a little bit more complicated than that.

Manager Frank Lampard himself also seems to be fairly relaxed on the matter but one way or another, it seems as if they’ll have to come up with a solution soon.

Willian is coming off the back of scoring the winner for the Blues during their big win over French side Lille.
