Willian Jose set for Real Betis

According to a recent report from AS, Real Sociedad forward Willian Jose is set to make a decision about his future and join Real Betis this week.

Jose has so often been viewed as a man who can do great things if given the opportunity to do so in Spanish football, but elsewhere, may not be able to replicate that same kind of success. The proof in the pudding of that could well come from his loan stint at Wolverhampton Wanderers last season which, as many of us know, didn’t exactly go to plan for him.

There’s quite clearly a lot of natural ability he possesses but now, it’s all about harnessing it and rediscovering the confidence that put him on the map in the first place. Wolves played a defensive style that didn’t really suit him but with Betis having a nice structure and a good base from last season to build off of, it may just work out.
