Willian waits for news from Chelsea

“No, not yet. Honestly I’m happy here. I feel happy to play for this club but this situation is not in my hands. It’s in theirs. 

“I wait for them. They know what I want, what I want to do. They already know so I wait for them.” 

That was the response of Chelsea star Willian when asked about whether or not he had been offered a new deal by the club as of late. His contract is set to expire during the January transfer window, and has supposedly let Chelsea know what his long term intentions are going to be. 

Willian had been linked with a switch away from Stamford Bridge with a number of big European clubs being mentioned, but it doesn’t appear as if there’s any clear deal being put in place on either side. 

He’s always been viewed as a key member of their squad, but now, Chelsea face a battle to keep him on the books.
