Speaking to Sky Sports, Jack Wilshere, now formerly of Arsenal, has revealed he is in no rush to decide his future.
Arsenal made their list of players to be released public on Friday and Wilshere’s name was on it, along with Santi Cazorla who has returned to Villareal, and Per Mertesacker who has retired from playing and has been offered a coaching role at the club.
Wilshere also revealed that he isn’t ruling anything out at the moment, including a move abroad, though he stressed that he enjoys the battles in England’s top flight. There are still 40 days left of the summer transfer window for the Premier League clubs and 20 more elsewhere, and the occasional England international sees no reason to hurry things.
He says he will pick literally the best option available to him, and he’s doing his best to stay as fit as possible in order to be ready for action at any given moment.
There have been many clubs linked with the midfielder so far, including West Ham, Juventus and AC Milan.
