“Jack has got a year to go on his contract. He’s here and he’s been very good,” Moyes said.
“I’ve really enjoyed working with Jack. For all the injuries he’s had in the past, I’ve got to say – since the day after lockdown, he’s not missed one day of training. He’s been fantastic in training. I’ve enjoyed having Jack, so I’ve heard nothing about it.”
West Ham United manager David Moyes has cast a shadow of doubt over midfielder Jack Wilshere leaving the club.
Recent reports indicate that the club is on the verge of terminating the injury prone midfielder’s contract by mutual consent, but it doesn’t seem as if Moyes is on board with the plan.
The Hammers are not tipped to have a great season in the Premier League after a questionable summer transfer window, and if Wilshere does go, some will question what kind of depth they’ve got as they continue to try and avoid relegation.
