Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has turned to technology in a bid to try and rescue his injury-mangled season.
The 20-year-old has missed the entire campaign so far due to a stress fracture in his ankle, and he recently suffered a setback courtesy of another stress fracture picked up in training.
It was expected that Wilshere would be out for the rest of the season and would play no part at Euro 2012.
However, in a desperate attempt to recover from his problem, the England international has started using Exogen ultrasound bone healing equipment.
Despite being on holiday, Wilshere posted a picture of his leg strapped to the machine on Twitter and commented: “Dear exogen machine…please heal me quicker…love from your number one customer!”
Wilshere has five senior England caps and was a key member of Arsenal’s squad last season, making 49 appearances.
