Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny could be changing clubs at the end of the season, La Gazzetta dello Sport has quoted Polish media as saying.
The Poland international is on loan with AS Roma until the end of the current campaign and while everybody at the club is satisfied with his performances, the Giallorossi have no intention of meeting Arsenal’s €16 million asking price.
And with Brazil international goalkeeper Alisson waiting in the wings, the Serie A side are ready to let Szczesny leave in the summer.
Chances are that the 26-year-old will not be returning to the Emirates, but he will rather look for a new club.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Szczesny is on the radar of Borussia Dortmund, Napoli and Juventus, meaning that he could remain in Serie A after all.
AS Roma hope to mount a serious title challenge this season and they are currently 10/1 shot to go all the way.
