Enjoying by their brightest form of the season, Wolfsburg will travel to a struggling Schalke on Sunday afternoon.

Starting with Domenico Tedesco’s Schalke side, while Sunday’s hosts may have secured a second-place finish in the Bundesliga last season, it has been a woeful campaign for the Blues this time around. Despite capturing a much-needed 3-1 win over relegation contenders Stuttgart last weekend, the Miners have failed to win any of their other previous four league matchups. Tedesco will also be growing concerned by Schalke’s recent performances at the VELTINS-Arena. Suffering back to back home defeats against Borrusia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen, the hosts also lost the reverse fixture 2-1 back in August.

As for the visitors, in stark contrast to Schalke, things couldn’t be going any better for Bruno Labbadia’s men.
