Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg are considering a summer bid for FC Porto winger Ivo Rodrigues, according to Portuguese newspaper A Bola.
The Wolves have been monitoring the youngster’s progress of late and they appear ready to make their interest concrete.
Wolfsburg scouts first spotted the player’s potential at the Under-20 World Cup in New Zealand last summer and they have since been hot on his trail.
Rodrigues impressed playing for Porto II before he was loaned to Vitoria Guimaraes in January 2015.
But, after struggling for playing time during said stint, the 20-year-old has been in fine form since moving to Arouca, having managed 3 goals and as many assists in 23 league appearances this season.
Rodrigues, who has only made one senior appearance for FC Porto, has a deal until June 2019 at Estadio do Dragao and his release clause stands at €30 million at the moment.
