Wolfsburger Nachrichten is reporting that VfL Wolfsburg have set their sights on Augsburg forward Michael Gregoritsch.
With Liverpool loanee Divock Origi set to leave in the summer, the Wolves are eager to recruit a high-quality striker and the Austrian footballer has emerged as their top target.
Gregoritsch only joined Augsburg from Hamburg last summer, but he impressed to score 11 goals in 27 Bundesliga outings.
As a result, Wolfsburg are set to launch an assault on the 23-year-old and they believe an offer in the region of €15 million will do the trick.
Gregoritsch, who had begun his professional career at Kapfenberger SV, has so far made 7 appearances for the Austrian national team, scoring 1 goal.
