Italian daily La Gazzetta dello Sport has learned that Wolfsburg are prepared to break the bank for Roma striker Pablo Daniel Osvaldo.
Buoyed by the good finish of last season, the Wolves are determined to further strengthen the squad this summer and they are on the lookout for a high-profile attacker.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Bundesliga side have made Roma’s Pablo Daniel Osvaldo their number one target.
The same source has suggested that Wolfsburg are prepared to offer no less than €20 million for the Italy international, who would be earning €2.8 million per campaign.
And while Roma chiefs would jump at the opportunity to cash in on the wantaway forward under these conditions, the player is reportedly ready to snub the Wolves as he wants to join a top European club.
With Osvaldo having already rejected Southampton and Zenit St Petersburg this summer, the Giallorossi are slowly starting to lose patience with him.
