German media outlet Bild has learned that Wolfsburg are planning an assault on Schalke full-back Sead Kolasinac.
The Wolves appear to be preparing for life without Ricardo Rodriguez, who is on the radar of top European clubs, and they obviously see the Bosnian defender as a very good replacement.
Wolfsburg coach Dieter Hecking is a big fan of the 22-year-old footballer and he aims to lure him to Volkswagen Arena at the earliest opportunity.
The Wolves hope their summer recruit Julian Draxler will help in an attempt to sign Kolasinac considering that the two players were very close while at Veltins Arena.
It is no secret that Kolasinac wants to leave Schalke in search of first team football and while AS Roma were believed to be keen, a move to Wolfsburg seems a more realistic option.
Despite his fragile age, the full-back has already amassed 55 Bundesliga appearances, scoring his first league goal in a December clash with Augsburg.
