Bundesliga side Wolfsburg are set to rekindle their interest in FC Basel forward Breel Embolo, according to Bild.
The Wolves have twice failed in their attempts to lure the Switzerland international to Volkswagen Arena, but they are not ready to give up on his signature just yet.
Wolfsburg are now ready to offer around €20 million for the highly rated footballer, but it is believed that FC Basel are holding out for €30 million.
And while Wolves have around €30 million to spend in the summer transfer window, they plan to use the transfer kitty to sign several quality footballers rather than just one.
Embolo, who is expected to represent Switzerland at the Euro 2016 finals, is also on the radar of Liverpool and Red Bull Leipzig.
The 19-year-old has already shown a great deal of potential, having notched 21 goals in 60 league outings for FC Basel, while netting once in nine appearances for the national team.
