Bild has learned that Wolfsburg are the latest high-profile side to have joined the chase for Stuttgart attacker Daniel Didavi.
For a couple of years now, the 25-year-old has been one of club’s star performers and a big club move beckons for the attacking midfielder.
With his contract due to expire at the end of the current campaign, it is almost certain that he will soon be leaving Stuttgart.
And while Bayer Leverkusen had been widely tipped to win the race for his signature, their Bundesliga rivals Wolfsburg appear ready to launch an assault on the highly rated footballer as well.
The Wolves boss Dieter Hecking has already worked with Didavi at Nurnberg and he hopes to get reunited with the former Germany Under-21 international.
Even though his career at Stuttgart has been plagued by injury, the midfielder still managed 11 goals and 6 assists in 53 appearances for the Swabians.
