Bundesliga high-flyers Wolfsburg are lining up a move for Schalke star Julian Draxler, according to Bild.
The Wolves have reportedly agreed to sell Kevin De Bruyne to Manchester City for €75 million and they only have until Monday to try and sign a replacement for the Belgian.
Bild has learned that Wolfsburg have made Schalke’s Julian Draxler their number one target and could soon submit an official proposal for the talented footballer.
The Germany starlet was also on the radar of Juventus, but the Bianconeri instead opted to recruit Juan Guillermo Cuadrado.
It is believed that Schalke would consider selling their prized asset this summer, although the 21-year-old, who has one goal in 15 Germany caps, will not be available on the cheap.
The interesting thing is that Wolfsburg will have a perfect opportunity to take another look at their target when they host the Miners in Bundesliga tomorrow evening, with home win available at 19/20.
