Wolfsburg line up Rosicky to replace Diego

Wolfsburg boss Felix Magath has shown interest in Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky, Bild reports.

Despite the heavy summer recruitment, Wolfsburg have had a very poor start to the season and coach Felix Magath is keen to bring few more players before the transfer window closes.

After Sotiris Kyrgiakos and Hrvoje Cale arrived to the club earlier this week, the experienced manager is now keen on Arsenal’s Tomas Rosicky.

With Brazilian Diego set to complete his transfer to Atletico Madrid, the Wolves are looking for a new playmaker and they see the Czech as a perfect fit for the role.

Rosicky is no longer considered first team regular at the Emirates and he could jump at the opportunity to return to Germany.

According to Bild, the player’s agent Pavel Paska has already arrived to Germany to negotiate a deal that should be worth around €5 million.
