Wolfsburg reject PSG approach for Ricardo Rodriguez

Bundesliga strugglers Wolfsburg have rejected the latest approach from Paris Saint-Germain for star player Ricardo Rodriguez, Le Parisien can reveal.

The Swiss full-back has been linked with quite a few top clubs of late, including Real Madrid and PSG, with the Saints recently stepping up their efforts.

However, Le Parisien claims that Wolfsburg have rejected another proposal from Paris Saint-Germain as they are eager to keep hold of their prized possession.

Despite the fact that he is flattered by the interest shown in his services, Rodriguez doesn’t want to go against the club’s wishes and is ready to remain with the Wolves beyond the current campaign.

Julian Draxler was in a similar position and he eventually managed to engineer a move away from the club and secure a deal with Paris Saint-Germain, but Rodriguez has no intention to follow suit and will only leave when the club decide it’s time.
