Wolfsburg full-back Ricardo Rodriguez could be leaving Volkswagen Arena at the end of the campaign, according to Bild.
In spite of the impressive season, the Wolves failed to clinch Champions League qualification and this could see them lose one or two star players.
Namely, Bild has suggested that highly rated defender Ricardo Rodriguez is looking for a new challenge.
The Swiss full-back has enjoyed a stunning season at Volkswagen Arena, having managed 5 goals and 9 assists in 34 Bundesliga matches.
And even if his contract is not due to expire before June 2016, the 21-year-old could be leaving as early as this summer.
Rodriguez has a long list of suitors among Europe’s top clubs, with Real Madrid also in the mix, but he will certainly not be allowed to leave on the cheap.
The youngster will represent Switzerland at the 2014 World Cup and that will be a perfect stage for him to showcase his qualities to his potential employers.
