VfL Wolfsburg’s Turkish forward Mahir Saglik has moved to recently relegated Bundesliga side VfL Bochum. Saglik has signed a three year contract with Bochum and becomes their eighth signing of the summer.
Saglik started his career with SC Paderborn 07 and had a loan spell with Ahlen before joining Dortmund. A year later, he was off to Admira Wacker Mödling and spells with 1. FC Saarbrücken and Wuppertaler SV Borussia followed before he joined Wolfsburg in 2008. While at the Volkswagen Arena, he was loaned out twice- once to Karlsruhe and the other to old club Paderborn. He scored 15 times in 27 games for Paderborn last season.
