Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in signing Renato Sanches from Lille in the January transfer window, according to Calciomercato.com. The 23-year-old Portugal international has been on the books of the French club since the summer of 2019, and Premier League club Wolves are reportedly monitoring him.
Sanches started his professional club football career at Benfica and made a move to Bayern Munich in the summer of 2016. However, the 23-year-old failed to make an impact at the German and European giants and had a loan spell at Swansea City during the 2017-18 campaign.
According to WhoScored, Sanches has made seven starts and one substitute appearance in Ligue 1 for Lille so far this season, scoring one goal in the process. The young winger has also made two starts and one substitute appearances in the Europa League for the French club this campaign, according to WhoScored.
