Wolverhampton Wanderers eye Morgan Whittaker

Wolverhampton Wanderers are among the clubs who are interested in signing Morgan Whittaker from Plymouth Argyle in the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider. The report has claimed that Brentford, Lazio, Celta Vigo and Stuttgart are also keen on Whittaker.

Football Insider has reported that Plymouth are open to selling Whittaker, but they are looking for as much as £15 million in transfer fees for the 23-year-old winger. The former England Under-20 international has been on the books of The Pilgrims on a permanent deal since 2023 following a loan spell from Swansea City.

Whittaker made 45 starts and one substitute appearance in the Championship for Plymouth last season. The winger scored 19 goals and gave eight assists in those games. The 23-year-old scored nine goals and provided seven assists in 19 starts and six substitute appearances in League One in 2022-23. Plymouth finished the 2023-24 season as low as 21st in the Championship table.
