Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in signing Jack Clarke from Sunderland in the summer transfer window, according to GiveMeSport. The report has claimed that Sunderland are looking for £25-£30 million in transfer fees for the 23-year-old, who can operate as a winger or as a forward. Crystal Palace have also been linked with the former Tottenham Hotspur player.
Clarke has been superb for Sunderland and has established himself as one of the best and most important players for the Black Cats. The former Leeds United youngster scored 15 goals and gave four assists in 39 starts and one substitute appearance in the Championship for the Black Cats last season. Clarke scored nine goals and provided 12 assists in 46 starts and one substitute appearance in the Championship in 2022-23.
Wolves finished the 2023-24 season 14th in the Premier League table with 46 points from 38 games. As for Sunderland, they ended up 16th in the Championship table with 56 points from 46 games.
