Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in signing Eddie Nketiah from Premier League rivals Arsenal in the summer transfer window, according to TEAMtalk. The report has claimed that Arsenal have told Nketiah that he is free to leave at the end of the season because he has fallen down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium.
Although Nketiah would prefer to stay at Arsenal and fight for his place in the team, the North London club want to cash in on him and fund a move for a new striker. Wolverhampton Wanderers are among the clubs who are keen on securing the services of the England international striker. Head coach Gary O’Neil wants to bring in a new striker to compete with Matheus Cunha and Hwang Hee-chan
Nketiah has scored five goals and given five assists in 33 matches in all competitions for Arsenal this season. The 24-year-old striker scored nine goals and gave three assists in 39 games in all competitions for the North London club last campaign.
