Wolverhampton Wanderers are ready to offload Fabio Silva in the summer transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano. The well-known and well-respected Italian journalist has claimed that Wolves are asking for a loan deal for Silva with a mandatory buy clause.
Romano wrote on X: “After Genoa loan proposal rejected, Wolves are considering other bids for Fábio Silva.
“#WWFC asking for loan with mandatory buy clause to let Silva leave.
“Werder Bremen added Fábio’s name to their list while Real Betis asked for info days ago.”
Silva has been on the books of Wolves since 2020 and has failed to make a huge impact at the Premier League club. The 22-year-old Portuguese forward had has loan spells at Anderlecht, PSV and Rangers in recent years but without much success. It will be interesting to see which clubs are willing to sign the former FC Porto youngster.
